I've been very satisfied with the board for carving fowl and roasts; the raised pyramid grid center section holds meats in place without running risk of damage to my good knives. The groove around the edge to catch drippings seems to be big enough for even large roasts.

(More customer reviews)The only thing about this carving board that sets it apart from others is the cute graphic with turkey tips. Otherwise, it's a cutting board. It worked fine for carving the turkey, kept the juice from running onto the counter, and that's about it. I was happy that the seller shipped it sooner than Amazon had originally told me, so I got it in time for Thanksgiving.
