(More customer reviews)I ordered several types of seeds to sprout, and the buckwheat seeds were the only failure. Sprouting them is easy, but the seeds aren't hulled, which makes the sprouts difficult to eat. Removing the hulls after sprouting is too time consuming to be worth the effort. If you're looking for buckwheat seeds to sprout, buy a hulled variety.

You are purchasing 1 lbs of Organic Sprouting Seeds Buckwheat. These seeds need about 10 days before they are ready to eat. They produce wonderful buckwheat lettuce greens that you can use in salads or raw sprouted soups. Great for juicing.We ship all seeds by the pound - with a few exceptions notably broccoli, red cabbage, onion and garlic. These are shipped in 1/2 pound packages. We will package your seeds as economically as possible. Such as if you order 8 pounds of seed, you will get one bag of 8 pounds of seeds.
