(More customer reviews)"Mr & Mrs T's Bloody Mary Mix" is our favorite off-the-shelf Bloody Mary mix and these 5.5oz cans are very convenient. We use the less expensive larger bottles if we know our guests will be having Bloody Marys but like these cans for single servings since the larger bottles need to be refrigerated after being opened.
We add a little more than 1oz of Vodka (your taste may vary) and find that it really doesn't need anything else for most people. It is just spicy enough for my wife, but I put an extra shot of Tabasco Sauce in mine and my mother cuts hers with a little tomato juice to dilute the heat a little. These are also good straight (without any spirits added) and as substitute for tomato juice in cooking (particularly vegetable stock) to add an extra zing to your dishes.
The 24 can case is a good value (especially if you have Prime or qualify for free Super Saver shipping) since we could only find them in smaller packs locally and at a much higher price per can.

(More customer reviews)Jar looks very nice. However note that the spigot is very narrow and slow. Can be frustrating to initial users, but it is possible to get used to it over time.
Bought this in May. Used extensively to store water and use every day. Spigot twist top has broken off in December. Don't seem to be able to find a replacement part easily. Don't even know what it takes to get it and replace it.
If you are considering this for frequent use, beware and prepare for a stress induced broken spigot.

(More customer reviews)Over all this is a nice looking, well made crock. I don't think you can beat it for the price. There are 2 things I would change, however. First, the metal looking spout is really plastic. Second, inside the top of the crock is sort of a lip where liquids can get into if it is full enough. It has the potential to be a nasty place where you cannot get a cleaning rag. I'm just using it for filtered water. But, something sugary could get messy. The lip should have been closed up.

It looks beautiful but is very cheaply constructed. The spigot is a silver PLASTIC! The container feels light and plastic with a thin ceramic interior. It was made in China. I would have preferred knowing this beforehand. I hope it last the next five years. We will be as easy as possible. Hope this review helped!

I anticipated that the ice in the bottom bowl would not keeps the drinks cool enough to suit me - so I inserted tall vases in the container and filled this with ice and lemons. Filled with lemonade and tea just below the rim of the vase. Between the ice in the bottom and the ice inserted in the vases - the drinks were plenty cool throughout several hours. (and also were not watered down by indirectly introducing the ice).

The sticking switch problem I had earlier is gone!
Veggies that don't work for me in this juicer:
oranges
pineapple
- too much bitter pulp included
pears
bananas
- too much like a puree
Mango: killed appliance.Update: 1/16/08. Bad news and good news:
The bad news is that the plastic latches are too weak.
I was juicing a mango and at at the end it gave a great shudder and the locking latches blew to bits!
The manual mentions mangoes and says only that they be peeled, I did nothing wrong.
The good news: I called up Hamilton Beach, and without fuss they arranged for a
free replacement ($5.50 shipping, that's ok).
While I was at it, I upgraded to the 67650 model, with metal latches, for $10.
So don't get this one, get the other one here:
