(More customer reviews)I purchased these in lieu of the V8 Fusions since they sell for $2.08 per can on Amazon Marketplace (approx double the price Safeway sells them for). First of all, they only contain 10% juice and the first ingredient after water is High Fructose Corn Syrup. They essentially sold me Soda with a V8 label on it! If I wanted to buy pop, I'd get a 24 pack for $8 not $30! Honestly, if you want juice, go to your local grocery store. These are terrible for you, over priced and they taste horrible. I would've sent them back but I figured I'd give it a try. Now im out $30. This left a bad taste in my mouth in more ways than one. Oh! I should also mention that these did not arrive in a 'weather-resistant tote' but rather were delivered to me in the original packaging. The plastic was loose and a can fell out when I carried it in. Not using Amazon marketplace again!

(More customer reviews)I've been enjoying carrot juice for years -- home made in my juicer and also another well-known brand sold in the produce department, which is also good. But recently I purchased Lakewood brand and was so disturbed by the taste that I thought the bottle of juice had somehow gone bad. Thinking it was an isolated incident, I didn't say anything about it when my boyfriend bought two more 32 oz. bottles to use in a recipe we planned to make this morning (a wonderful "pumpkin pie" smoothie made with carrot juice, sweet potato and dates). We were making a large quantity, to serve to friends, and it turned out these bottles of juice were terrible too, so we had to scrap the whole plan. There is a real "twangy" almost metallic taste, bordering on rotten carrots. I don't know if it's the pasteurization process or what, but this brand of carrot juice does *not* taste like carrot juice. I would hate for people to buy it and think they don't like carrot juice due to how this tastes. I don't know what their process is, but the end result is very icky. (Sorry, Lakewood -- I really don't like giving bad reviews! But this stuff is not good!)

Carrots contain more Carotene (Alpha & Beta) than any other fruit or vegetable. (More customer reviews)It's hard to find carrot juice in stores so I gave it a try and ordered some juice from this seller via amazon....even so I felt kind of poshy doing so.
Well, I will do it again. My six bottles of juice were shipped super fast, packaging was very good. The juice itself is excellent. It is actually that rich in taste that I mix it half with water or apple juice. That way the already reasonable price becomes even better.
I am really glad I gave it a try. Drinking a glas of carrot juice a day works wonders on my skin.

In the time it takes the pasta to cook, the V8 becomes the consistency (and flavor) of spaghetti sauce. Tastes just fine like that, or you can add some Italian seasonings to it for variety.

(More customer reviews)My wife and I settled on the Light Strawberry Banana after trying almost all of the V-Fusion variants. It is sweet enough to satisfy fruit craving and masks the vegetable tastes, but it's light enough not to leave an aftertaste (and with reduced calories compared to the regular version). We have been enjoying this product daily for two years without getting tired of it. Like other V-Fusion products it offers various vitamins and antioxidants.
The 8-pack with free shipping was a great deal compared to our local supermarket so I hope Amazon re-stocks it soon!

If you are tracking your sodium closely, be careful to look at the content in these cans. Otherwise, I coudln't be happier to have these on auto-delivery and never have to worry about finding them at the store or going to a different store just to pick these up. I love it!!

At the VA hospital, my dietician asked me to revise my diet. Most of the diet is no problem, but increasing vegetables can be a big problem. I need five to seven servings of vegetables each day. To meet all the "healthy" requirements, I have to eat too much. I have forced myself to eat it all and I end up feeling stuffed. Most days the best I can do is 4 servings.
I discussed this with my dietician and she said I could drink vegetables for some of my servings. V8 vegetable juice qualifies as a vegetable serving. Somehow its is like that commercial where Bill Cosby says "there is always room for Jell-O,".I can drink an eight ounce glass of V8 and not feel stuffed. A side benefit is that it tastes good.

V8 contains wonderful ingredients: calories 50; Sodium 140 mg; Potassium 820mg; Fiber 2g; Sugars 8g; Protein 2g. Percent daily value: Vitamin A 40%;Vitamin C, 120%; Calcium 2%; Iron, 2%; Vitamin C, 120%; Calcium 2%, iron, 2%. I try to purchase the low sodium bottle.
So, with V8, I increase my vegetables and eat healthy. I highly recommend V8 vegetable juice for daily consumption.
