(More customer reviews)I am proud to say that I have been a previous owner of this type of glass.Unfortunately they were sent off to college with my brother.But these are really great because you can drop them and they dont break.Nice and heavy and very druable.But not too heavy to hold.They make a nice glass for a tall glass of iced tea in the summer.And any other time of the year.Definately a great buy!Luckily one was left behind so that is my favorite drinking glass and I use it constantly.

Also, I have a problem finding a style of glass I like that will fit nicely in my upper dishwasher rack. Most have a bigger diameter, but this one did fit. I would reccomend.

Corelle Coordinates Country Cottage 19-Ounce Acrylic Glass, Set of 6 Review

(More customer reviews)I did notice just before I ordered these "glasses" that they werent actually glass but acrylic/plastic cups but since they were made by corelle I figured they would be good quality. When they arrived I was sadly dissappointed. My husband was worried if I had them out a party that someone might think they were throw aways because they are so thin. But I decided to keep them because they are pretty and they match my dishes that I also ordered through Amazon. I now regret my decision because my biggest complaint was that I ordered 12 of the big cups and 12 of the smaller ones (I call them cups because they are not glasses)and every single one of them had a sticker on the bottom of the cup that I had to scrub and peel and scrub and scrape to get off. Thats 24 cups that I had to go through and try and get these stupid stickers off. Even after running them all through the diswasher some of them still have a sticky residue on the bottom and since they are clear plastic you can see this residue and it makes it look like the cup is dirty. The information on the sticker could have been put on the box or on a paper insert or something like that. This is just like putting a sticker on the front of picture frame but worse because at least with a picture frame you can use a razor blade to scrape it off because its made of GLASS. And to top it off, even though they are dishwasher safe, there was an additional sticker (that peeled right off by the way because it was made out of different material) that said that you can put them in the diswasher but only on the top shelf and to only use no heat dry. So because you cant use heat dry they come out spotted and again, dont look clean. This is another thing I wish I would have known before I bought these. So, a note to the manufaturer and distributor of these cups, Dont put that sticker on each cup and if you insist on putting a sticker on make it out of the same material that you made the dishwasher notice out of, it peeled right off. Note to buyers: If you are looking at this country cottage pattern and you think this cups look nice, think again because the picture and description are a little deceiving. Also there was one set that I found that came with the dishes and bowls that came with glass drinking glasses. I had that in my cart when I was trying to put together a service for 12 of this pattern. But it was more cost effective to buy these cups seperately. Well now I know why. You get what you pay for. Many times, getting water from the refrigerator would cause the glass to break right in my son's hand. It seems they were always so thin that with the least bit of pressure, they would crack or would crack or break in the dishwasher.
Then I ordered the Anchor Hocking Manchester/Tartan tumblers from Amazon. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The glass is much thicker than the ones I had previously purchased in the stores and even though I intended to use them for everyday use, the beauty of the cut and design would be even fitting for a more elegant table. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean these will replace your Waterford glasses, but they certainly would look very well on any table.

(More customer reviews)These were purchased for my son to use since he's graduated from the age where he needed plastic drinking glasses. He doesn't like the larger capacity drinking glasses that I use as they don't fit his hand well. These are, as Goldilocks would have said, just right. They fit smaller hands (he's 11 now), they don't carry too much at a time, they are surprisingly stable due to the heavy glass bottom and they're pretty cool looking as well with the bubble in the base. Ideal for smaller hands or smaller mouths and still a pleasure to look at.

(More customer reviews)These are extremely durable glasses as others have already noted. They are heavy and thick. If you were to drop one on the floor, your first concerns would be about your tile and getting your feet out of the way, rather than worrying about the glass. As for the dishwasher, these ones are ok, but the larger ones can be a problem with older machines.
Pricing: These, and other genuine Libbey glasses, are almost always available at dollar stores. We have purchased several in this style with different sizes; most are the 22oz size. Regardless, they are there, and they are inexpensive. Be sure to look for the cursive "L" on the bottom or "Libbey". They sometimes have similar glasses that scratch easily, are far less clear, and generally do not hold up as well.
Our glasses still look exceptional after many years of use. We also get people asking where we got them and commenting on how "industrial" they are. If your local dollar store does not have these, they are still well worth the price, especially with free shipping.

(More customer reviews)I agree these are a great value and look good too. The inner side of the rim is a little more square than the outer, which is about what you can expect at this price and it is fine for me.
The problem I have is that we have already broken 2 or 3 glasses just separating them after they had been stacked (only 2 high). They are too fragile that way and shouldn't be marketed as stackable if they are not really stackable.

(More customer reviews)I must have ordered these "glasses" in mistake. They look okay, at least while they are new, but the size is for a small child. They are very tiny.
Besides, when you wash them, either in the dishwasher or in the dish rack, water accumulates at the top, because it has borders that hold the water. Not practical. This problem must probably apply to all sizes.

(More customer reviews)I bought a set in 2001 & immediately became a huge fan. They are elegant, classic, practical and almost unbreakable! I've dropped them on tiled floors on more than one occasion and they haven't broken. They are Tempered and 2.5 times stronger than regular glasses!
Then I moved and during the move the box went missing so I went immediately and got another set. Over the years I lost exactly 3 of them and when I went to replenish these I was told they've stopped manufacturing them! I couldn't believe it! I would have people come over and as soon as they'd see my glasses they'd talk about how they've been looking for these everywhere. I even had friends trying to buy them from me. They are literally THE icons in glassware.
You can get them in the following sizes:
3.75 oz - 2.6" Height x 2.5" Diameter at the top
4.25 oz - 2.8" Height x 2.9" Diameter at the top
5.75 oz - 3.0" Height x 2.8" Diameter at the top
7.75 oz - 3.2" Height x 3.2" Diameter at the top

I use the small 5.75 oz glass for having Persian tea (since the color is important and has to be served in a clear glass), I use the 8.75 oz glass for serving whiskey as well as wine in the "French Cafe" style, and the large 12 oz one for water, juice, shakes etc. It also is a perfect fit for standard cocktail shakers. Now that they're back I'm going to buy a couple sets and hoard them, as well as buying a few sets to give to friends. 5 stars is just not enough for these.

It's true, they don't stack into one another - but I bought 2 sets to distribute to my nieces & nephews and they LOVE them. As a bonus, it gives them a chance to actually see wjat recycling can do. So - as someone who HAS bought this item (in blue & orange) - I give it 5 stars.
