(More customer reviews)I am so disappointed as one by one they develop a crack near the mold mark on the bottom and subsequently leak. This happens with all sizes. They have only been used for cold drinks, never warm either so it is not a question of mis-use, just poor manufacturing.

(More customer reviews)I bought a set in 2001 & immediately became a huge fan. They are elegant, classic, practical and almost unbreakable! I've dropped them on tiled floors on more than one occasion and they haven't broken. They are Tempered and 2.5 times stronger than regular glasses!
Then I moved and during the move the box went missing so I went immediately and got another set. Over the years I lost exactly 3 of them and when I went to replenish these I was told they've stopped manufacturing them! I couldn't believe it! I would have people come over and as soon as they'd see my glasses they'd talk about how they've been looking for these everywhere. I even had friends trying to buy them from me. They are literally THE icons in glassware.
You can get them in the following sizes:
3.75 oz - 2.6" Height x 2.5" Diameter at the top
4.25 oz - 2.8" Height x 2.9" Diameter at the top
5.75 oz - 3.0" Height x 2.8" Diameter at the top
7.75 oz - 3.2" Height x 3.2" Diameter at the top
8.75 oz - 3.5" Height x 3.4" Diameter at the top
10.5 oz - 3.6" Height x 3.5" Diameter at the top
12 oz - 4.7" Height x 3.5" Diameter at the top
16.75 oz-2.6" Height x 2.5" Diameter at the top
I use the small 5.75 oz glass for having Persian tea (since the color is important and has to be served in a clear glass), I use the 8.75 oz glass for serving whiskey as well as wine in the "French Cafe" style, and the large 12 oz one for water, juice, shakes etc. It also is a perfect fit for standard cocktail shakers. Now that they're back I'm going to buy a couple sets and hoard them, as well as buying a few sets to give to friends. 5 stars is just not enough for these.

I can store enough in my small cupboards to allow me to rinse and wait till the dishwasher is full to run, and still have enough for the next family meal or snack. For company I prefer not to use disposable products and this collection allows for enough glassware to be available for a crowd of guests! Thank you Bormioli and Amazon.
The 16.25 oz. glasses are perfect for the "big guys" with big hands. (I've sometimes wondered, watching guys reach for a glass of soda, if they feel they are living in a miniature world. Not with these glasses!) They are also perfect for smoothies, ice cream sodas, special sundaes.
The 12.5 oz. is perfect for that all purpose beverage with ice - water, soda. iced tea (yes, I know there are special glasses for that), or a big helping of juice.
The 9 oz. is the all-purpose glass for me. Not too much, not too little. I find I use this one most often. It is especially useful when you want to allow people to fill their glass, and ask for more; as opposed to fill a glass and not finish.
The 6.75 oz. juice glass is a standard in my household. Every youngster can get a good grip on this glass and enjoy a beverage.
The 2.5 oz. shot glass is, I thought, of little use to me, but I recently picked up a set on sale at a local store. Why? They are too cute. I recently used one for a granddaughter who wanted a drink of water at bedtime. It worked. I'll come up with some other uses --- how about filling with dip for small snack before bedtime?
Then there's the 13.25 oz. double old-fashioned glass. Have not purchased these yet. They feel like a shorter version of the 16.25 oz. glass; a good feel for those with bigger hands or perfect for a short cocktail. Envision it to be perfect for a Manhattan-on-the-rocks.
Bottom line is, for me, this line of glasses is so good that I spent all this time to talk about it.
