All Wheat is Not EqualWe have had the experience of growing wheatgrass and being in the commercial wheatgrass business over the last 14 years. During that time we have experienced many different kinds of wheat. We have used wheat from Texas, Utah, Montana, California, and Israel both organic and non organic. There are two kinds of wheat one can buy: chemical free and certified organic. Most wheat is chemical free in that the farmer might or might not use an herbicide to control the weeds in his fields. If he uses chemicals on the wheat, it will cause a distinct taste in the bread thus no chemicals are used on the wheat itself.Then there is certified organic: Certified organic is the same as chemical free except the wheat is grown by farmers who have not used chemicals on their land for over ten years. The difference is the certification. If a wheat is organic and you grow it in organic soil, it will have the necessary organisms in the soil to help it assimilate the minerals properly. Organic produce should also have the organism on it which produces cobalamin (B-12)In our search to give you the very best wheat we have done two things. We now handle an chemical free red spring wheat, from Northern Idaho. For those who want certified organic, we have a red spring QAI Certified Organic. (More customer reviews)I purchased the Jack Lalanne Juicer from a major retailer and was thoroughly disappointed with its "inability" to juice much more than an apple so forget about wheatgrass (it went back that same day)! While the Hurricane does take some elbow grease (manual labor), it's SO worth it! This thing can get juice out of darn near anything!
In comparison, the Lalanne Juicer took about 20 minutes to properly clean-up, while the Hurricane is less than a 3 minute clean-up! Its Stainless Steel construction is awesome and I know it will last a lifetime!
As usual...delivery was FAST!

This manual wheat grass juicer is heavy duty, but has many down falls. You must assemble and re-assemble each time you juice. It must be cleaned and dried or it will rust,(this takes a lot of time). The paint is coming off after only a week. The bolts don't tighten well, and the juice leaks everywhere. It creates a huge mess and too much work for less than an oz of juice. It also seems to take tons of grass to get anything out of it. I regret buying this product.

Cuisinart CBT-700 Poweredge 700 Watt Blender With Juice Jar Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this blender since it looked sturdy and the large glass jar is great and easy to clean. I used it to puree some Butternut Squash soup around Thanksgiving, and it did a good job with that task. I made the same soup a month later, and after I blended the third batch (glass jar full), the blender blades would no longer spin. The blender would power on, then hitting any of the buttons, puree, low, high, smoothie, etc., would result in no action. The motor would appearantly no longer turn.
Undaunted, I returned the blender to Bed Bath and Beyond where I bought it, and got a replacement for free. Great! I then used the replacement to blend another batch, and then upon blending a second batch at two minutes into the three minute blending time, it shut off, never to operate properly again. Same problem as the first blender of the exact same model. It would power on, but again, it didn't matter which button I pushed, the blades would no longer turn.
I don't know if this was a motor malfunction, or if the electronics (circuit board, etc.) somehow where damaged, but the blender was no longer of use to me or anyone else.
It is a nice looking appliance, the glass jar is great, easy to remove and clean, but my experience suggests you not buy this model.

(More customer reviews)This is a very nicely made cutting board and a great value at the price. BUT, I think it is a bit too big for use as an everyday board. I purchased both this board and the medium Mundial cutting board. They are identical except for the size. After having had them for a month or so, I have found that I use the medium board nearly everyday, while this board is a bit too large and heavy for use as an everyday cutting board. Rather, it is the board you break out for those big turkeys and hams on Thanksgiving & Christmas.
The bottom line is if you are looking for one everyday cutting board, I highly recommend the medium version of this board instead of this one. Or, do like I did & get both and have this one "on standby" for large roasts and poultry.
