(More customer reviews)DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ITEM. JAF misrepresents it's cost. There are 3 different prices listed on site $131.25 is list. $54.59 is regular and $45.49 as sale. Thinking I was purchasing an item worth $130.00 for less than half the list price. The item arrives with a manufacture price tag for $50.00. Item arrives in a box from Gottschalks a store that is going out of business. JAF states I got a great deal. I know different. Item not worth any of the prices. Spiggot very poorly inserted. Actually cracked when I tried to turn the knob. A product defect. I have no doubt it would have leaked or fallen off after the first use. I was told by a JAF employee that I could return the item and they would not charge me a restock fee. Like they were doing me a favor. I asked to be reimbursed for the return shipping or send me a pre-paid shipping label and was told that was not their policy.
When I took the item to the UPS store I was quoted a price of $25 to $42 to return to JAF. JAF's shipping and handling cost would be $8.71 the cost it took to ship to me. I passed this on to JAF and was told they are very sorry it will cost so much but their policy is still the same. I would have to return the defective and worthless dispenser at my own cost. Basically paying for it a 2nd time. Not acceptable to me.
I called Amazon and they took care of the problem very quickly. Refunded my entire purchase price including shipping and handling. If JAF wants their item back they will have to send me a pre-paid return shipping label. Which is what I asked for to begin with. How quickly and easy this whole mess could have been resolved. BUYER BEWARE!!
