(More customer reviews)I bought this tray to use for Thanksgiving, but also wanted something I could use more than once a year. This tray fit the bill for me. My Thanksgiving turkeys are around 20 lbs. so there's a little overhang, but as it said it works. It caught all the drippings just fine, because it's made to actually work! It has a generously deep well not like some of those other boards out there that the well fills up instantly because they are too shallow. The wood is really nice, I sealed it with mineral oil as soon as I received it, and it's held up fine for over a year now and I picture myself passing it down to my children as one of those rock solid, last forever type of pieces.
By the way, I did a lot of research before purchasing. I looked into the one with the metal spokes built in to hold the meat in place, but it was recommended to me to steer away from that style as its much harder to keep sanitary. I'm extremely happy with this choice!
