(More customer reviews)I was tired of glasses always breaking and having to replace them only to have them break again. Many times, getting water from the refrigerator would cause the glass to break right in my son's hand. It seems they were always so thin that with the least bit of pressure, they would crack or would crack or break in the dishwasher.
Then I ordered the Anchor Hocking Manchester/Tartan tumblers from Amazon. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The glass is much thicker than the ones I had previously purchased in the stores and even though I intended to use them for everyday use, the beauty of the cut and design would be even fitting for a more elegant table. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean these will replace your Waterford glasses, but they certainly would look very well on any table.
