Tristar JLPJB Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Review

Tristar JLPJB Jack LaLanne Power Juicer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This juicer is one of the worst juicers I've ever used. Don't be fooled by the claims made during the infomercial. This juicer barely has the ability to shred the produce fed into it, much less efficiently extract the any juice from the pulp. Worst of all, it is actually dangerous to use. It all comes down to poor design.
The primary flaw with this juicer is that the feed tube directs its contents into the center of the shredding blade where it spins the slowest. To make matters worse, the teeth at the center of the shredding blade are arranged in the same circular path. This tooth arrangement fails to generate any shredding action between the blades, and only grinds circular groves in the produce. Thus, the produce tends feed very slowly, or actually stalls in the grind tube. This slowed feeding action also seems to cause the centrifuge basket to slow down, and clog up. I'm not exactly sure why this happens, but I suspect it may have something to do with the produce binding between the bottom edge of the feed tube and the center of the shredding blade. Obviously, once the centrifuge basket gets clogged, less juice is extracted, the pulp is wetter, and more juice ends up in the pulp receptacle.
The second flaw is that the pulp is only discharged into the pulp receptacle from one side of the shredding /centrifuge chamber. This tends to cause the pulp to linger in the centrifuge basket, and compounds the clogging problem. Once the centrifuge basket gets clogged, the pulp begins to stick to the inside of the shredding /centrifuge chamber, and eventually seems to make its way into the juice catch basin.
The third flaw is that juice catch basin is flat on the bottom, and does not drain well. Pulp particles in the juice tend to settle on the bottom the juice catch basin, and eventually may stop the juice from draining. When this occurs, juice will flow over the inside lip of the juice catch basin, and stream down the motor housing. Wait; it gets worse! Since the motor's cooling vents are on the sides of the motor housing directly below the juice catch basin, juice escaping from the juice catch basin tends to flow into the motor housing through the cooling vents creating an electrical hazard.
Not flaws, but worth mentioning:
When the juice catch basin is installed, and the shredding blade spun onto the drive shaft before the centrifuge basket is installed, it will be very difficult to uninstall the shredding blade because there is no way to stop the drive shaft from rotating.
Since the feed tube is located in close proximity to the drain spout & juice cup, small produce items sometimes fall into the juice cup during the juicing process.

Omega Juicer Model O2 Review

Omega Juicer Model O2
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I did SO much research on the Internet before finding that there are 2 small juicers available, and that both get good reviews. One is this one and the other is the L'equip mini. This model is newer so it didn't have as many reviews, so I couldn't decide. I called up one of the Internet sites and asked which they suggested. They said that Omega has a great reputation and stands by their products better than the other company. If you read the reviews of the L'equip 221 you'll see that that company is horrible if you have a problem with your juicer.
I just got the juicer today. You can get free shipping, so shop around.
Pros:
QUIET (much quieter than my blender), EFFICIENT, EASY TO CLEAN, EXTREMELY WELL BUILT
Juicer is GREAT!! It comes assembled and you can rinse out the parts and try it out in like 5 minutes.
From my research I knew that dry pulp shows it's an efficient machine, and that frothy juice is a negative - from supposed oxidation. I'd call it oxygenization, since air gets into the juice from being centrifuged.
Anyway, my own pulp test was fine. My first juice batch had moist pulp but when I pushed the veggies into the chamber more lightly the pulp was surprisingly dry.
Put a plastic bag, like the kind you put your veggies in, into the pulp catcher as a liner and you'll reduce your mess by a lot. The thing disassembles quickly and easily. I use a veggie brush to clean the screen and the whole thing cleans up in like 5 minutes. The messiest thing for me was the inside of the plastic top.
There was a little froth on the top of the juice, but nothing more than you get at a juice stand, and I'm not sure I believe this is a problem anyway.
The parts are very solid. The mesh filter basket is well built and the blade is very thick and solid, especially compared to food processor blades. The bowl is also stainless.
Highly recommend. Solid build, dry pulp when you get the right technique, and Omega stands by its products.
MAY BE CON:
Not sure about the froth issue. It didn't seem very frothy to me, but if you're used to the classic Champion juicers it may be more than you've had before. I'm just an inexperienced juicer and can't really tell whether this thing makes a lot or a little. Doesn't seem like a lot to me but I have nothing to compare it to.

Samson Ultrasonic Fruit, Vegetable and Dish Washer Plus Disinfector 3D Soul System GBW-300 Review

Samson Ultrasonic Fruit, Vegetable and Dish Washer Plus Disinfector 3D Soul System GBW-300
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this without reading a single review. I searched hard for one, but guess this must be too pricey for most people to purchase it (at least, that's my guess). But since my husband and I juice every morning, we wanted something to remove pesticides. We bought this and have never regretted it. Granted, I can't prove that pesticides and other bad things (i.e e-choli) are actually removed, because I don't have a science lab at hand, I CAN say items washed are MUCH cleaner with this. I can also say we haven't gotten sick, and spinach is one of our daily ingredients (I'm reviewing this shortly after the e-choli on spinach breakout).
I have washed bunches of celery and been disgusted by what was washed off (bugs, dirt, and who knows what else). Even if we can't see much difference, we can feel a difference. For example, carrots washed in running water feel like carrots, but carrots washed in this washer feel almost like they were scrubbed clean.
If you can afford this, I highly recommend it.
I will add, for those who purchase it, that there is a metal ring in the bottom of the bowl that says 'open' and 'close.' I called Samson's help line and asked about this, since nothing is mentioned in the user's guide. The man told me to leave it alone (on the 'closed' setting), that it is for repair technicians to use.
We've used it for food, and also for our toothbrushes. They get a thorough cleaning each month, and I don't have to worry about them warping, as happens when they are boiled clean.

I wanted a small and simple juicer, primarily for lemons/limes. I wanted it to be dishwasher safe, and I wanted to pay around $15. This is it. It probably doesn't compare to the models that are five times as expensive, and it's probably much smaller. But that was what I wanted. I don't need a a professional juicer to make a pitcher of limeade or a key lime pie.

(More customer reviews)
The product looked like it was constructed well. It worked as advertised, but was extremely loud. Loud enough to drown out the sound from my 1000 watt surround sound system turned up to 7 out of 10.
you can only run it for 45mins at a time. I ran it just long enough to make the slushie, about 25 to 30 mins. On my 9th time of using the machine it stop working. unfortunatly it took 36 days for me to use it 9 times, and of course it is only returnable for 30 days.
Now I must pay $25. to return it to the manufacturer for repair. This ups the price for the product to almost $100, hopefully I'll get more than another 9 slushies.9 slushies for $50 = $5.56 per slushie not including price of salt slushie mix and ice. I'll let you decide if thats a good deal.

Champion Juicer G5-NG853S-ALMOND Household Juicer Review

Champion Juicer G5-NG853S-ALMOND Household Juicer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got my Champion Juicer about 15 years ago, and LOVED it. It is a well made and versatile workhorse that does everything from grinding grain to making peanut butter. However do not be fooled by the new machines. They look the same, but the interior configuration is different. It does not work the way it is supposed to, and the company doesn't care.
Several years after I got my juicer, my mother-in-law wanted to get a better juicer than the centrifigual one she already had. Upon MY advice, she gave away her old, reliable juicer and bought a Champion. I was shocked that the motor sounded loose and rattly, and the pulp came out wet and drippy. Hardly any juice came out. It was obviously a piece of junk that was either broken, or poor quality, or both.
I called Whole Foods, where it was purchased, and they said that they did not offer any warranties on their juicers. They advised me to contact Champion directly. When I called the Champion company, the person who answered the phone was rude and defensive. She said that they had "upgraded" the unit, and that the noise simply reflected the "better" motor. She flatly denied that the machine could possibly be defective, and she said that the company policy does not allow refunds. She claimed that we must be doing something wrong - it didn't matter that I already owned one and knew how it was supposed to work. My only choice was to ship this extremely heavy machine back to California (AT MY OWN EXPENSE), or accept it as is!
So my unfortunate mother-in-law had given away her good juicer, and was stuck with one that barely worked. It languished in her cupboard for a long time, unused. Now, several years later, she is caring for a sick family member, and desperately needs fresh juice. We lugged it out, thinking that it was better than nothing, but when we plugged it in today, it wouldn't even turn on. The machine is totally dead, and she did not even get a single full glass of juice from it! Of course, the company claims that "nothing is wrong with the machine".
My suggestion is that if you want a good juicer, buy an Omega, or purchase a used Champion that is more than 15 years old.

I bought the Juicelady a couple of months ago, and it works wonders. The engine is great, and shreads even the thickest of carrots with ease. The juicer extracts the juice, and lets you enjoy the yummy juice without any pulp of any kind. I love pulp, but man, this lady is a great juicelady! The only problem I have with this machine is the cleanup. The machine is quite large. The worst part is cleaning the net container. Those who own this know what I'm talking about. I suggest you use a toothbrush when cleaning the net.

Juiceman JM300 Juiceman Jr. 2-Speed Electric Juicer Review

Juiceman JM300 Juiceman Jr. 2-Speed Electric Juicer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I needed replacement parts for my Jack Lellane Juicer (made by Tristar) that I got from the infomercial. I previously bought replacement parts, for it,from Tristar, the company that makes the Jack L juicer and it took 3 months to receive them. It also took over a month to receive that juicer when I initailly ordered it. Tristar has the worst customer service ever, and I'd recommend avoiding them at all costs, unless you enjoy frustration.
I decided to try to find a new juicer and leave the Jack L juicer behind.
Previous to the Jack L juicer I had the old Juiceman JR, but I didn't really like it because the feeder was very small, the motor was weak, and the plastic broke very quickly.
My research on Amazon showed that the Breville juicers all got good reviews, and I suspect that they're excellent juicers, but after spending $200 on the Jack L juicer i was hesitant to spend that much again.
I happened to be in Macys, and I saw the Juiceman Jr JM300 next to the JL juicer and the Breville Juice fountain plus. A quick look at the floor models showed that the Jack L juicer has only 250 watts of power. The Breville has 850 watts but cost $150. Breville also has a 600 watt model that gets good reviews here on Amazon.
The Juiceman Jr JM300 Has 700 watts and only cost me $59 + tax, and it's a bit smaller than the other two. This looked pretty good to me.
The minute I got home. I juiced 2 heads of leafy green lettuce and a whole lemon w/ the peel on.
This machine is not very loud, and chewed up everything very quickly. It did slow down a bit w/ the lemon, but I only used slow speed ( it has 2 speeds) and I pushed the plunger perhaps too hard. As soon as I let up on the pressure, It chewed up the lemon quickly and easily. This is something the Jack L juicer never did for me.
The design of the feeder and blade seems sturdy enough. The feeder on this model is fairly wide like the other 2 juicers listed above. The feeder is directly over the center of the blade and the hole is the same width as the entire blade. (different than I've seen on other juicers where the feeder is over a radius area of the blade).
The blade has very sharp teeth which seems to be a good feature, but be very careful w/ it. I got a small cut while I was washing it. Otherwise the machine seems very safe.
The Pulp that came out of this machine was more dry and the amount of juice was more than the Jack L juicer ever produced.
There is a foam seperator in the juice jug that works well.
Cleaning the machine was easy, and took about 30 seconds. I just rinsed it right after using it and used the brush that came with it to clean the filter.
Based on the price and results of this juicer I'm very happy w/ my purchace.

A smart addition to any healthy kitchen, this fruits-and-vegetables electric juicer produces fresh juice with a simple turn of a knob. Just place a glass or pitcher under the spout, insert fruit or vegetables into the large feed chute (cutting over-sized items into smaller pieces if necessary), and gently and slowly press down using the included pusher. The machine accommodates anything from pineapple, melon, apples, oranges, and grapes to tomatoes, celery stalks, cucumbers, carrots, spinach, and more. Fresh produce contains the most juice, and only thick peels need to be removed--thin peels or skins can be left on. The unit comes equipped with a powerful 700-watt motor and two speed settings for simple one-handed operation to extract pulp-free juice in minutes. Other highlights include a stainless-steel permanent-mesh filter and filter basket, a safety interlock switch, a high-impact see-through lid, a removable pulp container for easy cleaning, and non-skid rubber feet to ensure sturdy placement on a table or countertop. Dishwasher-safe parts make cleanup a snap, and a juice jug and cleaning brush come included. The electric juicer measures approximately 14 by 9-2/3 by 16-2/5 inches.

Acme 6001 Juicer - Juicerator Household Centrifugal Juicer Review

Acme 6001 Juicer - Juicerator Household Centrifugal Juicer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Acme juicers are made by Waring now as they have been for the past twenty years or so. One can buy the identical juicer as the Waring Commercial, so price shopping may prove fruitful.
I'll state that I've used Acme juicers for 30 years and the one I own now I've had for a number of years. The design hasn't changed, though, and my juicer uses the same supplies and parts.
Though the Acme appears quite similar to the Omega 1000/9000 series, there is one important design difference. If you look at the photo of the Acme you will see there are no moving arms on either side to hold the lid down. Apparently these arms are an Achilles' heel for Omega owners, breaking over time. The Acme uses no arms. The lid is placed on top of the bowl, then a short twist locks the lid to the side arms. No hanging, moving parts to break, and it's extremely quick and easy and secure. I'm sure when the guys breaking away from Acme decided to essentially copy the Acme design they couldn't take this with them, so they went with breakable arms. I can only say that after thousands of openings and closings with my Acme, the lid is as secure and workable as it was when new.
As can be seen, this isn't one of the so-popular pulp ejectors with the slanted slotted basket to throw pulp out. Upon opening the lid and looking inside, the sheer size of the straight-sided pulp catcher is impressive after looking at so many little slanted baskets. The pulp catcher is large enough to easily accommodate my man's hand for cleaning. And, of course, the outer stainless steel container is even larger. Because those of us who do serious juicing know that periodically the cutting blades will dull and need replacement, the cutting blades are on a very heavy stainless weighted disc, separate. At this time the cost is around $30 to replace this heavy cutting disc; full-sized Omegas and Acmes use the same disc. And, of course, the big juice bar commercial juicers also feature replaceable cutting discs. There is a large threaded shaft coming up from the motor in the middle. A large, easily-handled knob with built-in spring clutch threads on the shaft after dropping the heavy cutting disc on the shaft. Alignment of the cutting disc is automatic, no fiddling required. Total assembly of the stainless steel basket, outer container, cutting disc and lid is extremely easy and fast compared to so many newer generation juicers. Just a classic design that truly hasn't been improved.
This is a massive and heavy appliance and it sets on a dozen or so rubber feet; in years I've never known the thing to walk an inch. These big rubber feet (some are visible in the photo) dampen vibration perfectly. Upon turning the machine on, the noise level is quite low compared to so many juicers, rather a low, whooshing noise. The basket spins at 60rpm/second. This may not be as fast as some machines, but one must remember the large diameter of the pulp basket. It gains speed quickly in a few seconds is at operating speed. I'm not going to jam produce into any juicer like some of those idiots on infomercials, and this juicer easily takes care of firm vegetables. The best method for leafy greens is to roll them up into a roll or a ball to give sufficient firmness for the cutting disc. No, this juicer doesn't extract the same amount of juice for leafy greens. Buy a masticator if you want primarily those.
After use, it does take a half minute or so for the basket to slowly return to idle. I will say this juicer will easily produce a couple of 16-ounce glasses of carrot/beet/celery type juice before requiring cleaning of the pulp container. And boy, is it dry! Can't squeeze a drop out. I keep reading how much harder this basket is to clean than pulp ejectors. Not in my opinion. Because of its great size, I can easily reach inside. Not only that, because it isn't slanted on the circumference, pulp somehow doesn't get a grip. I never have to use a brush on this basket, just running water and my hand.
I know this review is long, but there isn't a lot of publicity about a juicer that was one of the bedrocks of juicing, and still should be. Unlike so many of these little foreign-made machines selling like hotcakes now, this juicer will be around for your grandchildren--and parts are still completely available. Hope this helps those considering--and compare the lid lock with Omega!

As a natural therapist I have had juicers that cost from $2,600 down to $99. This includes the Norwark, J&J Green Power and the Champion. The reason I recommend Champion juicers is due to the fact that they are the ones that I have found most people will use regularly. this is because the juice is tasty, the power of the motor makes them tough and long-lasting, and they are fairly easy to clean. Plus they can make the frozen fruit ice cream with a Champion.
I just bought one for my adult daughter and she is thrilled. My first Chapmpion is still going strong after 20 years of nearly daily use. It makes good quality juice, fast and easy. I have used mine to prepare juice for up to 20 people and never had one problem with it.
Cleaning is easy. Assembly is easy. I never filter my juice. Taste is great if you use good quality fruits and vegetables. If you want a juicer that will last your lifetime I can highly recommend this one.

Whoever the reviewer named Joyce Evans is, she has a real problem, and it isn't Champion. This reviewer has gone on Amazon and other review sites with the same misrepresentation: that Champion doesn't support its older juicers with parts.
The Plastaket company, owned by the same family from the beginning, introduced the Champion in 1955. It was the same, now classic, design, using a large and very powerful GE motor turning at ~1700rpm, as opposed to 3500-16,000 rpm on a centrifugal juicer. Looking at the juicer, the feed/chute part, the cutting cone and the screen are made of high-grade nylon as opposed to the cheaper and easier molded plastic on today's juicers. With use over the years, the molds for these parts simply wore out and new, visually identical parts were made. However, this is a precision machine and the new parts were different enough that they don't fit the very oldest juicers.
My Champion was purchased nearly 30 years ago. After reading this woman's entries here and elsewhere, I called up Plastaket. As with any juicer heavily used, the cutting mechanism will dull over time and should be replaced every few years. The entire assembly was still available for my juicer, as I expected. I spoke at some length with the company and brought up this woman's work online. The change in the parts was explained to me; they readily stated that their very oldest juicers don't have an inventory of parts.
I ask other readers: how many small appliance manufacturers keep parts past a very few years? What do readers think of the probability of getting new cutting baskets for all these Juiceman and LaLanne labeled juicers 10 years from now, much less 30 years from now? The only juicers that I know of with enough history to check, are Acme/Omega (they use the same cutter wheel, still readily available) and Norwalk (at least for most parts for this $2000+ machine).
Though of course Ms. Evans doesn't bother to mention the age of the Champion to which she refers, re Plastaket it must be a very, very old model. This woman states on her profile that she is some type of 'professional' and 'educator'. This 1-star rating combined with her refusal or inability to even review the machine should nullify her review. I have no problem if this person doesn't like the machine--who knows what she is thinking? After seeing this very same, quite unfair byline on more than one juicer review site, I can't decide whether she's some type of Champion weirdo or just a nut.

Omega 1000 Juicer Review

Omega 1000 Juicer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My experience is limited to the Omega 1000 and 4000. Both are very good machines, but one of them has some distinct advantages.
As the other reviewers have noted, this machine is very solidly built & should easily outlast the 15 year warranty. In fact, it might outlive the 4000.
Why? Because the 4000 is so much more pleasant to use that you will use it more, because the operating principle is a little different.
Both machines have a chute that you feed fruits & vegatables into. At the bottom of the chute is a stainless steel disc/blade that grinds up the food into a pulp.
On the 1000 model, the pulp is thrown out by centrifugal force into a drum that is just like a washing machine drum - it is perforated stainless that traps the pulp on the inside and allows the juice to strain out. Just like on a washing machine spin cycle, it is possible to get the contents out of balance so that the whole machine shakes & makes a real racket! This is very easy to do on the 1000 if you load apples or other foods with skins, because the skin will often stay intact so it has to go on one spot on the drum, throwing it out of balance like a pair of jeans. There are some "tricks" that help in this case, such as saving some carrots for this emergency. Many times feeding a carrot will stop the shaking.
Another consequence of the "spin-cycle" approach is that after you have feed a few pieces of fruit, the pulp in the drum can clog, trapping all the juice inside. This happens especially when you try to juice bananas, pineapple or strawberries. I am able to do strawberries & bananas with the 4000 as long as I alternate fruits. The bananas still goo up the insides, but a couple slices of apple get things flowing again. With the 1000, it was a lost cause.
The model 4000 works differently because the spinning drum is cone-shaped, which forces the pulp to ride up the sides of the drum for a brief period & then it flies out into a pulp ejector chute. This means the 4000 never gets the shakes like the 1000, and also the drum stays much cleaner, which allows you to keep juicing much longer. For example, this morning I juiced apples, carrots, celery and grapes in that order on both the 4000 and 1000. Although in both cases I got exactly 12.5 ounces of juice, the juice from the 1000 had no grape color and less grape flavor, because a thick layer of pulp had built up on the inside, which absorbed most of the grape juice.
The other advantage of the 4000 is that it when you turn it off, it stops in just a few seconds. On the 1000, it continues to spin for much longer because of the heavy food in the drum, dribbling all the while and sometimes walking across your countertop!
So I give 5 stars to the 4000, and only 4 stars to the 1000. The 1000 does have an optional citrus juicing attachment that is rather nice. If you can't stand pulp, the 1000 also accepts some very inexpensive coffee-filter-like filters that virtually eliminate pulp from the apple-carrot-celery etc. types of juices and make cleanup easier. You really can't use them with tomatoes, strawberries, etc., because it will clog instantly.
Cleanup is pretty easy on both, once you get the hang of it. The only tricky part is getting the pulp out of the strainer. I use a stainless scrubby pad gently on both sides, which seems to work well on both models.
The 1000 is better than I am describing, but loses a star for occasional vices.

L'Equip 110.5 Grey Mini Pulp Ejection Juicer Review

L'Equip 110.5 Grey Mini Pulp Ejection Juicer

An excellent juicer, has more power than any I could find in this price range. The motor does not wind down, all the pulp is ejected into the back container providing clean juice! I compared 6 juicers to this one and none could compare to its power. No problems with this at all since I purchased it and I use it every day. I like the stainless steel top where the extractor fits over, most other Juicers have plastic. This juicer is fast, fairly quiet, and in quality and power, it compares to juicers in the $300+ range. It is very easy to clean and operate. You can't go wrong with this at its price!

Designed by people who juice for people who juice, the Model 110.5 L'Equip Mini Juicer/Pulp Ejector will give you the results you expect from a top quality juicer at a much more affordable price. Forget containers full of foam, this is one appliance that's designed for quantity and quality, with results that are virtually free from foam, as pulp is ejected through the rear of the juicer. A computer-controlled motor monitors the speed of the cutter blade, automatically sending out more or less power as needed. The pulp receptacle is ample and a large feeder tube accommodates more veggies and fruit than most juicers. A unique bag clamping system holds any plastic bag in place for ejected pulp. User friendly with no clogging and no foam, it's compact in size (only 11.5-in. high) so it fits perfectly on most kitchen countertops. It's the juicer that provides the most power and highest efficiency (600 watts and 10,000 RPMs) than any other juicer in its class. Comes with a 6-year guarantee.

Kuvings Juicer NJ-9310U, FREE Shipping Available!
I got this juicer as a birthday present and was over the moon about it. I intended to purchase the other juicer however the store was out of them. After I purchased this juicer, my parents saw how much better my juicer was than theirs. They immediately purchased Kuvings Juicer.
This was an amazing juicer, I've ever seen. When I first met this, it came well packed. The juicer was very easy to set up and use even without reading the manual. I made fresh juice every morning with ease. I stucked in a whole apple and the juicer made a cup of apple juice like nothing. The juice was surprisingly smooth. I was very impressed. A powerful motor seemed to shred evreythng. I was really satisfied the noise of the powerful motor.
It was also very easy to clean up. It just took all of 5 minutes if you're through. Even comes with its own scrub brush. It worked very well to scrub the metal inner piece that strains the juice. This was the only part I washed by hand. It could be rinsed and put through the dishwasher.
The juice is very smooth and frothy. I highly recommend this juicer to friends!

Equipped with an energy-saving 350-watt motor capable of a food-processing speed of 11,000 rpm, this centrifugal juice extractor quickly converts fresh fruits and vegetables into healthy, all-natural, pulp-free juice--a delicious alternative to store-bought varieties that often come laden with artificial sugar and preservatives. The unit's large-capacity cylindrical feeding tube can fit whole apples, pears, oranges, kiwis, peppers, and more without the need to peel off the skin, remove the seeds, or chop into smaller pieces first, while its sharp stainless-steel blade and basket leave behind no pulp residue for pure, nutritious, read-to-drink beverages. In fact, the powerful unit has the capacity to continuously juice up to 30 to 50 cups of juice at a time. Compost the collected pulp or, better yet, use it to flavor soups, sauces, breads, cakes, and more. For peace of mind, the appliance provides a safety locking system that prevents the unit from operating unless the work bowl and cover are properly locked onto the base. In a sleek, ergonomic design that takes up minimal space on the counter, the juice extractor measures 16-4/5 by 14 by 9-2/3 inches and carries a one-year manufacturer's warranty.

Waring Juicing Center, Quite White/Stainless Review

Waring Juicing Center, Quite White/Stainless

I have owned this juicer for over a year now and have had to change the blade twice. It does a good job most of the times, but when you start mixing soft and hard fruits and vegetables simultaneously and in a certain order, the unit will start vibrating to the point where the blade will make contact with the metal column where vegetables/fruits are introduced. The result: the maching will grind the blade and damage the performance of it. Try the following combination: apple, carrots, and grapes. Say bye bye to your blade.... (a $40 value).
