I initially was going to buy the reynolds unit because it was cheaper, but after reading that it was hard to seal the bags properly, I decided against it. This unit is really easy to seal. The valve sticks out of the side of the zip lock bags, so you just attach the nozzle and it pulls all the air out. Another plus for the item is that the bags that come with it are very heavy duty and they're dishwasher safe. Overall this was a very good buy and I highly recommend it.
