I ordered three grapevines and they arrived quickly and in good health. The packaging was first rate as was the customer service. I would not hesitate to order from Cliftons's again!

Cabernet Sauvignon is the premier red wine grape in the world. Cabernet Sauvignon is the dominant grape in the Bordeaux region of France, but has spread to every other major growing region. The Cabernet Sauvignon grape produces distinctive wines that are tannic and can have long aging potential. Cabernet wines are usually blended with other varieties to make wines with increased complexity. Cabernet Sauvignon is a small dark thick skinned grape that gives average yields. It needs slightly warmer growing conditions than many other varieties in order to achieve maturity. Cabernet Sauvignon Taste characteristics include: dark cherry, cedar, tobacco, black currant, and if grown in cool climates, green pepper or olive overtones. Enjoy the foliage as it goes dormant, and its dominant trunk and branch pattern which gives good winter time interest. Hardy to about 5°s. Shipped as a potted one gallon plant in its original soil and container.

Thomcord Seedless Grape Vine One Gallon Plant Review

Note: This review is for the 5 gal size...I ended up buying three of these 5 gal grapes to crawl up my new column folly. They arrived very well packed, in healthy condition, and if anything, taller than described. I later had reason to call the nursery direct and found them to be very helpful and willing to walk out to find me a specific plant out in their lot. Having a lot of nurseries in the local area, and with grapes grown all around, I initially felt silly buying a vine online but this was the only place I could find the plants I wanted at the size I wanted - and it turned out to be the right answer! I highly recommend this product and Clifton's nursery.

Thomcord is a seedless grape developed from two of America's favorites--Concord, of peanut butter and jelly sandwich fame, and Thompson Seedless, a summertime classic--both are proud parents of a grape variety that you just got to try. Enjoy blue-black skin with whitish bloom and bold flesh color of the Concord, plus a pleasing Concord like flavor that's lightened by the sweet, mild taste of its Thompson parent. The fruit on the Thomcord is slightly firmer than Concord. Fruit ripens late July through mid August. Cold hardy to USDA zone 7 and probably zone 6. Shipped as a potted one gallon plant in its original soil and container.
