(More customer reviews)I just got these glasses today, but so far, they seem to be just what our family needs. We've always had fragile, lightweight glasses and with three kids, there was always the fear of breakage or the need to use plastic cups. No more. These glasses are stylish and match any kitchen decor, fit nicely in your hand, and best of all, they're sturdy. They are definitely weightier than what I'm used to, and you may want to be careful of the weight load on your dishwasher's top rack if all 16 glasses are in there at once. The weight seems significant on my rack, but it will probably be fine. I do have one large glass with two small nicks on the side, but they're very small and shouldn't affect function. My husband is very pleased with them and would buy another set if we need to add more.
I'm not including shipping quality as part of my rating of this product, but I do think it's pertinent to offer a comment about it. My glasses arrived intact and well-packed with air packing, although other reviewers have stated issues with theirs arriving broken. Mine came directly from Amazon and not another retailer selling through Amazon, however. I don't know if that makes a difference, but I had also read on [...] that most people were disappointed to find broken glasses when their shipment arrived due to poor packing of the box.
Bottom line: If you're looking for sturdy, yet stylish drinkware, this set's a good choice.
