The hard plastic cap rotates freely, and allows pouring without removal. This cap doesn't provide an air-tight seal (the cap will leak if you need to shake the contents). Other than that, highly rated!

(More customer reviews)I expected to be purchasing four containers: the picture shows four, and when you order, there's no option to choose a color. The description states "comes in cool colors" - plural. So I was surprised and disappointed to open the box and find only one. The price is fair, because the container is a higher-quality, thicker #5 plastic (for four at this price I was expecting something pretty flimsy), so I won't be returning it. My daughter likes using it, but it did leak pretty badly when it tipped over in the lunchbox. We haven't used the detachable snack box, but the opening isn't big enough for a toddler to reach into; you have to tip out the contents which is just begging for a mess. And I have to add that it's a good thing they sent me a green one; I have a thorough and unreasonable hatred of the color orange and would have been returning it immediately if they had sent that color. Not being able to choose the color is a pretty big drawback in customer service. I'm not really thrilled with this product, but not so unhappy that I'm returning it.

He is addicted to it and won't eat anything else. Dry food is much healthier. This stuff runs her 70 cents a pack at wal-mart. That is almost 850 dollars a year just for this garbage. Table scraps would be better than this garbage. You are nuts if you feed your dog this stuff.

OXO Good Grips Citrus Squeezer Review

(More customer reviews)I've used a large variety of tools over the years to juice citrus, and I was excited when I learned of this tool. Not only is it by Oxo, a leader in kitchen gadget innovations, but Cooks Illustrated also rated it as the top method for juicing limes.
I'm happy to report it does indeed juice limes very well! People without a lot of forearm/wrist strength may have to brace the bottom handle of the squeezer on something, and all the juice doesn't drain out of the squeezer until you remove the spent half-lime (it could use a few more drain holes), but it's effortless for me and I don't get juice all over my hands like when I use a reamer. For a lime squeezer, I give it 5 stars.
For a lemon squeezer, it leaves something to be desired. Working with an average supermarket lemon, it doesn't squeeze out as much juice as a reamer would (leaving some still in the lemon, wasted), and worse, squeezing hard causes lemon juice to squirt out the side for a sticky mess to clean up. Still, it is easy to use, if not very effective, so for a lemon squeezer, it gets 3 stars.
Since this is marketed as a citrus squeezer and not a lime squeezer, I averaged my two ratings to award 4 stars. If you're going to use this tool for limes and only the occasional lemon, the Oxo Citrus Squeezer is an excellent buy.

220 Volt Braun MP80 Juice Exractor- WILL NOT WORK IN THE USA Review

(More customer reviews)I am a juicing fanatic! So naturally I wanted to try all of the juicers and comparison shop before I bought my own. I must say, the Braun Juice Extractor takes the cake! Here's why:
1. This Juicer is easy to assemble: the Juiceman Jr always was difficult to connect all of the parts together.
2. This Juicer is easy to DISassemble: Trying to take the rotating mesh blade off of the Juiceman Jr is a pain (and can be painfull!)
3. The design is VERY spacesaving and ergonomically correct: The Juiceman Jr has a large, unnatached bin and normal glass that doesn't fit or store well with the juicer unit. The Braun Juice Extractor however, fits together in all one base unit, and even the pouring bin that recieves the juice snuggly fits against the juicer unit.
4. The REALLY cool foam strainer: This is the best part! If you've ever juiced, you know what a pain the foam at the top is! You can't get rid of the foam without actually straining it or scooping it away; you can kiss that foam goodbye with the strainer!
5. The detachable tray at the top allows you to hold your fruit and veggies without messing up other bowls and cutting boards.
6. It's just better that all the rest! Try it, and I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do!

Acme CAC66 Juice Extractor 200 Replacement Paper Filters Review

(More customer reviews)This is a pretty obscure item for a specific product, but if you own that specific product and use it on a regular basis, this item is a godsend. The product, as is mentioned above, is the Acme Supreme Juicerator, and the item is a filter package for it. I've used the juicer with and without the filters and, trust me, clean-up is infinitely easier with them. There's no long process of trying to poke out tiny specs from individual filter holes. Just turn the basket upside-down, shake it over a garbage can, and the filter, with all the pulp attached to it, falls out, leaving you only the job of rinsing the basket.
These filters are only useful (as far as I know) is you have this particular juicer, but as I said, if you do, they're invaluable.

(More customer reviews)This juicer definitely produced the best juice. Put cool veggies and fruit in from the frig and get cool juice out, and the quality is outstanding. We have been juicing now for a month and we feel so much better. Because of the energy I get from the juice in the mornings, I was actually able to quick drinking coffee! While one of the other reviewers was correct in that this juicer does take up some counter space, the parts are definitely not made cheaply - at least on our model (the Green Star 3000). After all the junk that is being made these days, this machine is made of quality parts, and is actually a little bit heavy (but it has a nice handle).
We love our machine. We love having the best possible product coming out of our machine. The only drawback, and it is a slight one, it that the machine does take a few minutes to clean, and should be cleaned immediately after use. The parts are good quality, strong and durable, but not for use in a dishwasher (according to the manuafacturer.) If it were not for this, I would have given it five stars easily.
One hint: Plan you juicing ahead of time. Because the machine takes 4-5 minutes (for two people) to clean, and because of the quality of the product (the magnets and low speed and low heat which does allow the juice to remain fresh longer) we usually juice enough for two mornings at a time (for two adults). All told, between cutting up the veggies and fruit, the actual juicing, and cleaning up,it takes about 20 minutes every other day. This may seem a little long just for juicing, but for our health, it is way worth it!!
