(More customer reviews)My 1st grader got this for Christmas and it's perfect for her school lunches. It's roomy enough inside to fit a whole sandwich in a plastic container (not included), an ice pack, a tube of Go-Gurt, a bag of chips and a dessert. The only problem I have with it is in the bottle that comes with it. After one wash the cap wouldn't fit down all the way so it can't be carried anywhere. Apart from that the bag's a real winner.

The clasp thing is also very sturdy and thusfar I've used it to store some papers in and it hasn't let me down yet. We definetly need more things of this sort with other Beatles pictures on them.

Thomas and Friends - Dinnerware - Side Kick Lunch Box Set Review

(More customer reviews)I gave this 5 stars for fun, because my son loved it from day one, and would not leave the store without it. He played with it for days while we waited for school to reopen after Christmas.
I rated it 5 stars for educational value, because it made him want to go to school, which is a significant educational achievement indeed.
Unfortunately, I had to mark it down, because the water bottle is already broken at the point where the button to press it open meets the cap. Also, the straw is hard to clean, especially after a young child eats a cheesy snack and nibbles on the straw.
Lastly, the front compartment is very difficult to open, especially for a young child, so you end up not using that section at all.
Other than these, it's tough, it's cute, and it's a retro look that parents remember all too well. Substitute another bottle, and enjoy.

(More customer reviews)I bought these bags because I was looking for something eco-friendly and "safe" for my children (ie lead and BPA free). While I like the size and features, I have had to replace my bags twice in a matter of 6 months because they fell apart. Each of the 4 bags I bought began ripping at various seams. All the water bottles leak water after a time and some of the plastic containers would crack at the seams. I know this must be a quality issue because I bought these a various locations and they all seem to have fallen a part.
Regarding customer service, they have agreed to replace the pieces but I have grown tired of constantly having to call. I have owned many types of lunch boxes and I have never had ones fall a part as much as these have.
My recommendation is to buy another brand.
